"Pretty clean overall, but room to improve"
I went to the festival and, had a good day overall. The cleanliness was kind of hit and miss though. Some parts were kept really tidy and there were plenty of bins around, which helped, but the toilets definitely got messy later in the day and a couple of the food areas felt a bit too crowded and not as clean as they probably could’ve been. I get that with that many dogs and people it’s never going to be perfect, but I feel like hygiene could’ve been managed a bit better.

"I wasn’t expecting much, but the food..."
I wasn’t expecting much, but the food choices were actually good. Like, there was enough stuff to pick from so you weren’t stuck with one sad option, and the coffee was decent too. The lines moved faster than I thought they would, which was a big help since there were dogs all over the place and things could’ve gotten messy quick

"Pretty nice event overall"
Had a good time at the event, honestly. There were water stations all over the place which was great, and the staff seemed to keep an eye on the dog areas well. A few spots got kinda crowded though... could’ve been handled a little better, but overall it was a nice day

"Toilets were actually clean"
I went to the Dog Lovers Festival and, the toilets were just better than I expected for such a busy event. They were easy to find, had toilet paper, and didn’t have that gross smell you usually brace yourself for at these things.

There was a bit of a line at one stage, but it moved quickly. It also looked like staff were checking on them fairly often, which just made the whole day a lot more comfortable

"Not really up to the standard I expected"
I was hoping to get some genuinely useful dog advice, but the talks felt basic and kind of rushed. I have a personal standard for things like this, especially when experts are involved, and this just didn’t meet it. There wasn’t much time for real answers, and a lot of my questions were left untouched.

"It was fine... just not anything special"
Shopping was easy, so no complaints there. The stuff itself was just kind of average though... I got a shirt, and after washing it, the print already looked a little faded. Not awful or anything, just not really amazing either

"A fun day out for dog people"
I went to the Dog Lovers Festival with my sister and we actually had a really good time. There were way more exhibitors than I expected, from food stalls and rescue groups to toys, beds, grooming products, and a few brands I hadn’t come across before. It didn’t feel like every stand was just the same thing repeated, which was nice. We ended up staying longer than we planned because we kept stopping to look at things and chat with people. A lot of them really seemed to know what they were talking about too, which makes a difference. If you’re into dogs or just like browsing dog-related stuff, it’s definitely worth checking out. I mean, if you’re not a dog person then maybe..

"Such a fun family day out"
We just took our two kids to the Dog Lovers Festival with my wife, and it’s still fresh in my mind how much fun we had. It was really easy to get around, even with the kids, and there was loads to see without feeling overwhelming. The kids were absolutely loving meeting all the dogs, and the whole thing felt very family-friendly. It did get busy at times, but it never felt too stressful. Based on how good this visit was, I’d definitely be keen to go again next year.

"Nice overall, but a bit hectic getting around"
I had a good time overall, but moving around the venue wasn’t the easiest. Compared to other crowded places I’ve been to, the ramps felt especially packed, and the signage could’ve been a lot clearer. It was manageable, but after a while it got a little tiring dealing with the crowd.

Had a nice time there with my dog, he seemed to enjoy it alot. I did feel like the tickets was a bit pricey for what they had though. I’d maybe go again, but only if it was cheaper...

"Fun event, but getting in and out was a hassle"
The event itself was a really good time, and I think most people there seemed to enjoy it. The only downside was the parking situation, it felt pricey, and I’m sure other customers probably felt the same. Leaving afterward wasn’t much better either, since the trains took forever.

I found the info on dogloversfestival.com.au really easy to follow. The dates and times were simple to find, and the dog show details made it much easier for us to plan out the day properly. I’m someone who likes to know the basics before heading to an event, so it matched what I’d usually expect.

The emails were helpful too, though I would’ve liked a bit more detail about parking beforehand. That said, the communication was solid overall and we didn’t run into any real issues on the day.

"Nice spot to meet a few rescue dogs"
I went mostly for the adoption stalls and had a really nice time. There seemed to be plenty of rescue groups around to chat with, though I didn’t get to visit every single one, so I can’t say for sure how they all were. It was a little busy, but still easy to ask questions and meet some of the dogs.

Had a really good day out with my dog. The water bowls were super handy, and the dog-friendly spaces made everything feel easy and relaxed. Always a win when you don’t have to stress about your pup while you’re out, honestly.

i had a really good time at the Dog Lovers Festival. I was expecting the crowds to be a bit much, but the lines moved way faster than I thought and it never felt too packed, even with so many people and dogs around. The staff were helpful and kept pointing everyone in the right direction, which made things a lot smoother. Just a nice, easy day out overall.

"I went in hoping to learn…"
I went in hoping to learn more about different dog breeds, but it wasn’t really the experience I expected. A lot of the dogs seemed stressed, and the handlers looked rushed, so there wasn’t much chance to ask questions or interact in a useful way. I left feeling like I didn’t really learn much.

"Such a smooth visit with our pup"
We were just there recently, and it’s still fresh in my mind how nice the staff were. Everyone was super friendly and helped us find what we needed without any hassle. Having our pup with us could’ve made the day stressful, but they made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed

"A really fun day out for dog lovers"
I went to the Dog Lovers Festival mostly for the shows, and for me, they were easily the highlight. The agility demo was my favourite — it was so fun to watch, and I liked that the trainers explained everything in a way that felt easy to follow. We also caught a grooming demo and actually picked up a few useful tips for our dog at home. Some areas did get a bit crowded, but personally I thought the overall vibe was still really nice. I’d definitely go again.
